Things to expect:

Thrips cause scarred, distorted leaves - but spraying is not practical.
Spider Mites still troublesome on many plants. Wooly Aphids on Ash trees - moldy looking pests that cause leaves to curl downward. Mildew on grapes. Migration of insects into landscaping.

Things to do:

Plant citrus trees. Don’t let weeds goto seed - mow off seed heads. Dethatch Bermuda lawns by close mowing (scalping).Wait until nighttime temperatures are above 65°F to plant new summer lawns using Bermuda. Protect tender bark from sunburn - apply tree paint or wrappings to trunks and limbs.
