Things to expect:

Leaf drop due to shorter, cooler days of fall.
Insects move inside to avoid the cold.
Citrus fruit splitting.
Fungus disease in flower beds - overwatering.

Things to do:

Complete lawn overseeding.Complete most vegetable and flowering planting this month.Reduce watering frequencies.Harvest pecans and almonds.DON’T fertilize freeze-tender plants.DON’T prune trees until January.
